Terms and Conditions
This agreement is between you and The Bin Caddie LLC (including its affiliates, referred to as “The Bin Caddie,” “we,” or “us”). Before using our services, please review these Terms and Conditions carefully. By using The Bin Caddie, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Service Description
The Bin Caddie provides residential trash and recycling bin management services within Hernando and Pasco Counties, subject to service availability within current service locations.
Services include:
Placing trash and recycling bins curbside on scheduled municipal collection days
Retrieving bins from the curb after collection and returned to designated location
Cleaning and deodorizing bins to promote odor-free, hygienic containers
By signing up for our service, you grant The Bin Caddie permission to access your property (or another designated service location) for the purpose of placing, retrieving, and/or cleaning your trash and recycling bins. You confirm that you have the legal authority to grant such access.
To ensure successful service, bins must be easily accessible on scheduled service days. If our team is unable to access bins for any reason, no credit or refund will be issued for that visit.
2. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Ensure clear and safe access to bins on service days, including adequate curb space for placement
Notify The Bin Caddie in advance of any address changes or special service instructions
Provide bins in a condition suitable for handling and cleaning, unless accepted by The Bin Caddie in advance of known condition.
If a bin is broken or not in working condition, service may be refused. The customer will be notified of the issue. Customers are overall responsible for contacting the county or trash collection provider for bin repair or replacement. Upon customer permission, The Bin Caddie may contact the county on the customer’s behalf, but is not responsible for repair outcomes or timelines provided by the municipal trash service company.
3. Bin Placement and Retrieval Time Windows
The Bin Caddie places trash and recycling bins curbside on the evening prior to scheduled municipal collection, typically between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Placement times are approximate and may vary due to route volume, weather, traffic, or operational needs.
After municipal collection, The Bin Caddie retrieves bins during designated return service windows. Typical return windows are approximately:
10:30 – 11:00 AM
1:30 – 2:00 PM
4:30 – 5:00 PM
If a bin has not been emptied during an earlier return window, The Bin Caddie will check again during the next scheduled window on the same service day. If bins remain unemptied by the final return window due to circumstances outside of The Bin Caddie’s control, service will be considered complete for that day and no credits or refunds will be issued.
In such cases, The Bin Caddie will contact the customer to determine whether bins should remain curbside for later collection or be returned to their designated location.
Customers acknowledge that municipal collection schedules, delays, missed pickups, and holidays are outside of The Bin Caddie’s control. Holidays may affect both placement and retrieval times, and services may occur earlier or later than usual on or around observed holidays.
All service times are estimated and not guaranteed.
4. Service Limitations
The Bin Caddie does not collect or dispose of trash or recyclables; services are limited to bin management and cleaning only.
Liability is limited for any pre-existing bin damage or damage caused by external factors beyond The Bin Caddie’s control.
Overloaded bins or bins with open lids will not be serviced. The Bin Caddie reserves the right to refuse service in these cases, and no credits, refunds, or adjustments will be issued.
Cleaning services include a high-pressure power wash, thorough rinse, and deodorizing treatment only. While this process effectively removes dirt, residue, bacteria, and odors, some stains, discoloration, or permanent damage may not be removable due to factors such as age, material wear, prior neglect, chemical exposure, paint, grease, or prolonged buildup. The Bin Caddie does not guarantee the complete removal of all stains or cosmetic imperfections.
5. Payment and Billing
Payment terms are specified at sign-up (monthly, per service, etc.).
Pricing and payment terms are subject to change with reasonable notice provided to the customer.
Late payments may result in suspension or termination of service without refund.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Customers may cancel service with at least 7 days’ notice prior to the end of the billing cycle.
No refunds will be issued for prepaid or unused services.
7. Liability and Indemnity
The Bin Caddie is not liable for injury, loss, or property damage except as required by applicable law.
Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Bin Caddie and its affiliates from any claims arising from the use of the service.
8. Privacy Policy
Customer information is collected solely for service delivery and customer communication. Personal information will not be shared with third parties unless explicit permission is granted by the customer for partnered promotions or services.
9. Changes to Terms
The Bin Caddie reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be communicated via email or letter and posted on the website.
